Johannesburg – Amalgamated Beverage Industries (CCBSA) announced the winners of the 2014 Schools Recycling Programme winners. There were ten primary schools and five secondary school finalists this year. Kwa-Zulu Natal performed well in the primary schools category. The secondary schools were dominated by the South Region, in accordance with the CCBSA regional classification. This competition is growing from strength to strength and this year was testimony to it.

The winners were announced today in Midrand at CCBSA’s Manufacturing plant. Today’s winners will ultimately become advocates for waste management and inspire their communities to respect their environment and the importance of recycling as a way of life.
