It speaks volumes about CCBSA’s commitment to skills development and building capability in our people and unemployed youth in the societies in which we work,” says Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) managing director Velaphi Ratshefola.
CCBA received the following awards from FoodBev SETA Gala Awards:
1. Most Unemployed Learnerships Completed

FoodBev SETA chairman Alan Campbell and the CEO, Nokuthula Selamolela indicated that they truly valued CCBSA’s partnership, contribution and proactive approach to skills development.
Special mention was announced for CCBSA being bestowed the Responsive Organisation: Employed Bursaries Award, for providing additional bursary contributions. CCBSA was asked to support with disbursing additional bursaries during the year and this helped the SETA meet its annual financial obligations.
Ratshefola expressed his appreciation and congratulations to the CCBSA Learning & Development Team, specifically the Skills Sustainability department, which ensured it goes above and beyond in this area.
“Their commitment to this partnership has taken years to build and included countless late nights, taking up office space at FoodBev SETA offices when we need hundreds of documents to be captured, looking for opportunities to enhance all funding opportunities and ultimately building the winning capabilities in our business,” said Ratshefola.
